Blue Bird

I promise I don't spend my days observing nature (although it sounds peaceful). But I was sitting at the computer, looked out the window and saw a beautiful blue bird perched on a clothes line next door. A rare sight for our neighborhood. All we see are ugly black crows (and grasshoppers apparently). So I grabbed my camera and took a couple pictures. I had to snap quickly, he was on the move.
Gorgeous color.
Since we're still deep into Northern Exposure, I must say that I felt like Holling Vincoeur...so happy to capture a shot.
