the Snoopy D-O-double-Gizzle
..likes his Family HomeveNizzle.
I mean, I guess if Steve Martin's mormon, then Snoop can be too, right?
check it out: Snoop Dogg Converts to Mormonism
"According to the Associated Press, Snoop Dogg was first introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as the Mormon Church is officially known, after attending a Gladys Knight concert in an LDS meeting house in Los Angeles.
Knight, who very publicly discusses her conversion to Mormonism several years ago, invited Snoop Dogg to what is known to the Mormon faithful as “Family Home Evening,” a church program that encourages families to set aside Monday evenings for gospel-centered lessons and family togetherness. "
Okay when you're done reading that story, you should check out this one too. I just wanted to be part of the mormon lore.

My best friend in Salt Lake just sent me this today too. I was reading it to Matt and he wasn't buying it so he too did some online research and found it to be fake. Family home evening with Snoop might require ear muffs for all children present :)
That is a rad story! Hoax or not, it's worth spreading around for the rest of us to have fun with! Thanks!
I saw that on our news station's website http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=2998638
Obviously not true, but totally funny. Just imagine Snoop passing you the sacrament or something...yikes!
There were some other funny thins on that(fake CNN) site.
Maybe now he can do some kind of collaboration with Donny Osmond.
I had given up on the Steve Martin myth, but I guess it has resurfaced again. Some BYU journalist traced the rumor back to a Steve Martin back east that was baptized, but he wasn't THE Steve Martin. It is fun to think about, though.
This is great, so funny!!
I knew it was a joke when they mentioned Snoop enjoying non-"special" brownies... :)
Love this April fools joke! I would have believed it when it was sent to me, but I saw it was written on April 1st. Fun post!
