an afternoon with friends

Nothing says summer like playing in water and hanging out with friends. Our friend Erica invited us to come play at their house this afternoon along with other moms and kids. We love their backyard and their perfect company. I could chat with Erica for hours.

June is spunky and sweet. She decided to go J-Lo style with her swimsuit at first:

Lucy and June are 9 months apart and play well together (unless the Dora playhouse is involved):
Natalie brought this great water pool/fountain. It was really perfect for the kids. Not too deep and plenty of water, splashing everywhere:

Child's paradise. A table just their height, with all sorts of treats to choose from. Owen chose wisely.

More good friends, Erin and her cute son Tyler. Awesome face Ty. Cracks me up! When I told Lucy that his name was Ty, she replied, "just like my dad wears a tie!" Um, sort of.

Thanks for a fun afternoon ladies! Saying goodbye to great friends will by far be one of the hardest things about moving.
