What we've been up to
I've been on blog hiatus...but we're back! And here's what we've been up to the past couple weeks.
We had date night and heard our friends play at their show in Hollywood. Dave T, Todd P, Devin C, and Brett make up, THE PONY:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
We went to Kidspace Free Night....
....and Casey joined us! It was a treat to have him along.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
We celebrated my brother Eric's birthday and had a Chocolate Party. YUM.
It was so cool (and so delicious). Laura set up this tasting table with all sorts of dreamy chocolate creations:
The famous DARK chocolate french truffles from Trader Joes:
My favorite sampling tray, Dark Chocolate Bordeauxs from Sees:
And if we didn't have enough to indulge on, there was a huge brownie "cake", with a star of course:
Great party Laura! The colors were so fun. Ava and Lucy even matched the motif:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Since the weather has been ultra fab, we went to Disneyland. Lucy was running on little sleep so she wasn't the best sport. But we had fun moments. We looked a little run-down like this all day:
But watching her face as she saw The Little Einsteins characters come on-stage made it ALL worth it. She was so adorable and SO in-awe:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
And lastly, Casey and I went to Seattle. But we'll save that for the next post.
Fun to be wearing tank tops in January! This weather has been treating us real nice.

Wow! Tank tops in January! Incredible. It looks like you guys have been having a great time, can't wait to hear all about Seattle!
Lucy looks like she's jumping into some sort of blue-mist oblivion. It's kind of freaking me out.
And at the end, all I can hear is, "You get yourself something REAL NICE, Clark.... real nice."
Yay, you're back!!! Oh my heavenly chocolate bliss. I SO want a chocolate party now. Yay Disneyland!! Tim and I went last week, and we want to go again soon since our passes expire in April (sad)! Can't wait to hear about Seattle!

I was wondering what you guys have been up to!! I can't wait to see the Seattle pictures. I LOVE Casey & Lucy's facial expressions in the birthday group shot picture. Classic! I love Laura's chocolate birthday idea, very fun.
My roommate did a Chocolate and Cheese Party for two years in a row. All the guests had to bring a favorite/special/gourmet chocolate or cheese delicacy for all to sample. So fun!! :)
Hey Dana,
You should have told us you were in Seattle. We would have come up to meet you. We've been to Seattle a number of times over the 9 months we've lived in Portland. We love it up there. Good times.
