Lemons
Lemons are popping up everywhere.
Our friend Erica brought us these beauties from her backyard:
Found this at JoAnns and had to buy a yard. Not sure what I'm going to make but it's called juicy. How could I resist that?
Megan made this fun embroidery with a creative twist:
And for date night, Casey entertained my restaurant choice and we scored Lemon Month at Souplantation. Casey claims that lemon jello was the best menu item. I'd have to go with lemon muffins.
I guess I like it when life gives you lemons!

YAY for lemon month at Souplantation--one of my faves! Cherry month is yummy too. I forgot to tell you to try the lemon salad...I LOVE the dressing on it. And the muffins are my fave too.
That fabric is so pretty...I can't wait to see what you do with it.
Of course we love lemons -- we live in front of a lemon orchard! Great pictures -- as always.
eric has really been into lemons for his diet coke. obviously not a new concept but sherri has a lemon tree in the yard so we always steals them and he says they are the juiciest lemons he's ever had. anyways, i really like the idea of lemons on the table in a bowl.
Hooray for lemons!! I LOVE that fabric... and Lemon Month at Souplantation rocks!! That's a funny picture of Casey. :-)
I'm pretty sure that fabric is related to the green, teal, and brown Pear fabric that I bought last week! I'm trying to decide what to do with it... fun stuff!
I wish we had lemons everywhere!! Cute post, love the fabric & Casey with the lemon jello eye!!
Super CUTE post! I love the lemon fabric! And Souplantation... yum... haven't been there forever.
what a great, happy post!
What?? How did I not know about lemon month?? I'm a huge fan of the lemon/lemone/limon. Meyer lemon's are my fav but usually anything lemon I go nuts over. Thanks for sharing.........hopefully Laura W and Allison S see this cuz I know they are huge fans too!
Those lemons look great. Cute material too. I'm sure you will do something great with it!
How you can take the ordinary lemon and turn it into such a cute post is a talent.
Speaking of cupcakes...or was that "lemon muffins"? Anyway, your mother-in-law delivered the barrettes, and I actually remembered to pay her for them. They are adorable. Thanks so much!
I totally bought that same fabric! I loved it when I laid my little eyes on it. I am going to make an apron with it. Can't wait to see what you make!
