observant

Today while cutting Lucy's fingernails I remembered that I threw away all my nailpolish before our move. So I assured her, "Next time we go to Target we'll buy more nailpolish so we can paint your nails." She quickly corrected me, "No, no. You don't buy paint at Target. You have to go to the orange store."
You're so right little one. I guess we've been spending way too much time (and money) at Home Depot.

Smart girl! Sophie thinks that's where you get hot dogs. And sadly, she recognizes the two HDs in town: the one with the car carts, and the one without. I'm so excited about your kitchen makeover! Best wishes!

They are just sponges right now -- the things they remember are just amazing. I swear I wish I could be teaching Katie a second language right now...
