Impromptu Haircut
I've been wanting to give Lucy a haircut for a while, so I guess this wasn't totally impromptu but it was spontaneous for a Sunday evening. I was waiting till beach camping was over because I needed to be able to pull her hair back in a ponytail while playing at the beach. My other reasons:
1 - The front hair is shorter than the back. Her hair would look more even if it was "bob" style.
2 - Ever since summer arrived, she's been scratching the back of her neck (where her hair lays) like crazy. She's created a horrible rash back there so I often put her hair in a ponytail to get it off her neck. Hopefully this will solve the problem.
Here's the Before and After:
She was amazing and held still the entire time! A little Super Why on TV does the trick!
She has the haircut I wish I could have. I guess that's the beauty of having kids....you can turn them into mini-me's?

CUTE! love it. i'll miss that mini ponytail though...
So true about turning our little ones into mini-me's, I'm the same way! She looks adorable! Good job!
Love it! So cute! I wish I could sport a do like that, too. Although some days I think I'd be happy with a haircut like my own children. ;-)
Cute!! Nice job, you stylist, you!
Nice job, it looks so cute! Love the mini me statement, it is true!
As always, Lucy's adorable! You're so right. I wish I had blond straight hair that I could cut into a bob like grace's.
It looks really good, nice work.
Kids staying still for haircuts is something that has yet to be experienced in my house, including when I am the recipient.
Cute haircut! Good job! Cute little Lucy Goosey.
Just when we thought she couldn't get any cuter...
I want straight, blonde hair... even just for a day, it would be nice to know how it felt.
I loved it last year and I love it this year! awesome job!
you sew AND you cut hair? is there anything you can't do?? :) (your house is like shear genius meets project runway...lol)
She looks SO cute! I didn't know you were a stylist!!!
I didn't know you cut hair! You are so talented with your hands. She looks adorable. I want to give Mya a haircut like that, but Jarond wants to grow her hair out.
LOVE it!! Lucy is definitely a little girl with that hair cut, no more baby!
Great job with the cut!! It looks super cute!!
So dang cute. I'm super impressed. I used to love to cut hair but I never cut my kids' hair. Well, I do cut my boys' hair from time to time. But I'm scared to touch my girls'. You go, girl! Darling!!
too cute! and you cut it yourself? of course you did.
