Green Eggs and Ham

Lucy's favorite book these days is Green Eggs and Ham. She requests it almost every night. And often I wake up hearing her reading it in bed. It always makes me smile.
Here she is "reading" the second half of the book. (She's also watching a show, so she's distracted a few times). At one point she wiggles her finger over her mouth to sound like she's underwater (something Casey and I taught her).

I was going to be boring and dress her up as Cinderella for Halloween since I know she'd love it. But then Casey said, "how about Sam I Am?" So we asked her, and she liked it! Time to get some fuzzy yellow fabric....

Even if she is "reading" and not reading, I'm still very impressed with the memorization!

My favorite part was at the end, "I will eat them aaaaaaannnnnywhere." And how she kept laughing at the tv. Multitasker. Like her mom. :)

So so so so so so so so so so so so rad.

If I didn't look at the screen, I was actually reminded of my own voice from old family home videos.

Lucy rocks!

so jealous. Katie is adamant about being Cinderella. She has a ratty old costume that is literally falling apart that she is insistent in wearing. I guess I should be happy, I don't have a to do/buy anything for her costume this year.

Oh my gosh! She is soooo cute. That was really good that she remembered all of that. That so great you got that on video. She'll love to see that one day.

Adorable video! Ahhhh, the benefits of being read to. She will love watching it over and over again as she grows older. You're such a good mama.
