For the past two months, Lucy's hair has had two looks: one bun or two.
I grew tired of combing the tangles (and fighting her over it), the summer chlorine had done a number on the fine strands, and no matter how many times I explained that her hair was blond, she thought I was saying "long". She'd smile and continue to tell me that her hair was yellow just like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Emily Elizabeth.
But we won't be having the blond/long conversation anymore because today she had an impromptu haircut! The days of combing tangles are in the past! (for a few months at least).

I'm gonna miss her ponytails and buns but I always love her with a little bob. She really looks like a different kid.

Stinking cute! I love it. I have been tempted to do that with Paige's hair lately because it seems to have lost that beautiful baby curl and I just love the bob. Lucy's hair is so shiny and cute that it is perfect for that look. She looks 10 years older though. AHHH.

this is going to sound weird but i swear on my life your daughter looks like the older version of my daughter (she's 2)... the hair, the facial expressions, her face... everything... it's so weird. but obviously i think she's a total cutie pie. i should email you a pic of ava (my daughter). she even had the same blue and white pokadot swimsuit from old navy!
That is so cute! I love the cut and after summer, it's probably a healthier thing, grow out new hair for next summer! I think it's great!

!!!!!!! I can't believe you cut it!!! Not because it doesn't look totally cute, but because my 3-year old has pretty blond hair which I just realized this week goes past her waist line — and she has NEVER had her hair cut.
OK. A tiny itsy-bitsy trim on her first birthday, but she was getting a mullet! I had to do something!
So while I have no plans of cutting it short, and I know perfectly well I can only let it get so long, I'm having a hard time actually doing it!
