First wounds of the season

This past week our weather has been sunny and in the 70s! I love it. And so, we shed the pants for dresses and shorts....
...and brought on the first skinned knees of the season. I'm sure there are many more to come.
Lucy must have listened to the talks at church. We got her out of the car, she walked over to the grass and sat down, to ponder? She looked cute.
and Owen slept for 5 hours at a time 3 nights in a row! I'm sensing a pattern. A very good pattern!

Yeah, I'm trying to gear up for skinned-knee season...so far this week it's been skinned-face season with Kate...she seems to break her fall with her face. She's definitely going to be a capri-girl this summer to protect those little knees...poor Lucy

I have to say Lucy has the best highlights and lowlights in her hair. Does she realize how much people pay to try and get that perfect blond hair! I think a skinned knee would be worth the warm weather that comes with it.

That is an adorable dress and shoes! Any sort of wounds on my child make me so angry at the world! Especially when he was younger. I guess it's party of growing up, though.
