Mother's Day

Well, I can't say it was the most pleasant day. We started with an hour and a half of Lucy meltdowns all morning. I wasn't sure I would make it to church with the mood I was in. And the whining continued all afternoon with Owen. BUT, the good word is: Casey bought me some gorgeous tulips and the day ended on a high note with yummy dinner at Casey's parents house and (finally) happy kids.
I think I'll start taking all my Mother's Day pictures here. Fun to look back.
We rode trikes:
And jammed on the piano with original Lucy songs:
Followed by a dramatic finish (she was being so funny):
Though they test my patience to it's limit, I sure love these two munchkins. Happy Mother's Day to all you Mothers and future Moms!

Oh how I just LOVE these pictures!! I have always loved taking pictures in Parry & Linda's backyard, it is landscaped so beautifully! You and the kids look so cute! I am glad you received flowers from Casey. Those Willard boys were raised right I tell ya! Jeff usually gets me some too, but this year Jacqueline insisted she get them since I love, red tulips & roses. So she just took the wind right out from under his sail this year. So funny! Happy Mothers Day to you too!

Happy Mothers Day Dana! I'm glad we weren't the only ones with Mothers Day melt-downs... ours happened during sacrament meeting, but in the end, my day ended perfectly!

Looks like a beautiful day. Sorry about the meltdowns. I loved the look back from a year ago! Casey and your cute kids are so lucky to have you!!

Yeah, mine was kinda lame too with Sam working two shifts, plus my dishwasher broke Friday night and no one is coming to fix it until sometime today, so by Sunday the sink was full of dishes AND I have a pulled muscle in my neck that started on Sunday and now that it's Monday morning, I can barely turn my head.

Sorry about the complaints...just commiserating about how it wasn't the best of days. There's always next year, right?

Dana-

I noticed you falling asleep in Relief Society and was secretly wondering how your morning went...thanks for sharing, I figured it was something like this. If it makes you feel better at all mine wasn't ANY better.

Really cute dress you had on though and I love your hair down and flat ironed, that took some time!

I'm glad it was a good day in the end!! Yeah, it's funny that special days like Mother's Day are supposed to be all magical and wonderful. Unfortunately, reality ALWAYS sets in at some point, haha. :-)

Honestly, your camera takes the best pictures. I'm sure adorable kids helps :) Happy Mothers Day-week. (I've decided it should be like birthdays and be a week long celebration!)

Is she 3? I have thought 3 was harder than 2.
