is it weird to be excited about....

panties?
I guess not. But maybe it's weird to blog about them? Oh well. Doing it. We went to H&M today and they had the cutest set of girl undies.
7 days, 7 little expression, and 7 pairs that actually fit Lucy! We're dumping the old Disney princess pairs and sticking with these (though she might wonder what happened to them.) But seriously why do they have to make Disney princess stuff so ornate and dripping with swirls and goo? I hate when she's wearing a cute outfit and I get a glimpse of some ugly purple and yellow Belle panties. This is more our flavor. I love H&M!
I had to give these pairs a whirl too. Little boxer/hot pants. Perfect under a skirt! They're a tad big on her, so maybe she'll wear them as pajama bottoms. Or maybe I'll use them as a pattern to make more!
Okay. Underwear blog post. Done.

Right there with you. The Toy Story and Cars underwear is so scratchy and thin--it's worth the extra $$ to get the super soft and thicker ones at Gymboree for Sammy.

I DO love the boxer briefs on him as well...so cute! I'll have to check out H&M now. Glad you drove all the way to Glendale after all! :)

I agree, these are perfect for a little girl without being over the top. I wish I had an H&M in my city, I miss the one I used to shop at. I bought so many of Mackenzie's baby clothes there and they wore so well.

Hehe... Those are super-cute. I totally agree on Disney Princess over-the-top-ness. Can't stand it. But I guess when it comes to panties, it's whatever encourages the kiddos to use a potty. :) We're potty-training right now, so I'm going to look into these. We have Dora panties that I bought 8 months ago (being a bit optimistic, I think). But she'll need more than 4 pairs anyway. Right now, we're using Gerber's training pants. Which fit her like boy's briefs...

I love H&M. Max & I did some serious retail therapy at the one in Woodlandhills a week or so ago. I love that their stuff isn't covered with puppies & sheep & other baby animals. Just simple fun, funky kids stuff.

OK, target has some cute ones with Monkey's on them...have you seen them? Do they even compare (I only saw them in an add and would have never noticed but since you posted this they caught my eye)?.

thank you! i've been looking for the boxer style. you know, to trick ally into thinking she's not really wearing underoos, which she's not too keen on now that she realizes they're a whole lot of binding and not that cool.

Don't be embarrassed about your underwear blog. We are big on our underwear here as well - not that our underwear is big but....
