I just asked Lucy to do something and her response was, "why?....Mommy? Why?" Oh boy....have we officially entered that stage??? I thought it came a little later.
Oh man! I think we might (knock on wood) have just finished that. I didn't notice it as much as Nate did, but some of Zeke's WHYs were certainly more annoying. Like when you say something and give the explanation why, and you still get a why?! Hopefully it won't bug you too much and/or it will be short lived. Either way - it's good to know she's curious, right? :)
Oh just wait, you will miss this stage. It may be annoying now, but I miss it from Jacqueline. It was quite cute when you think back. I am sure I will feel the same as you do when Jillian gets around to it though. Enjoy those sweet questions and curiosity, it won't last to long.
Katie has been asking "why" for over a year now. There doesn't seem to be an end in sight. It's now a knee-jerk thing she says even if she knows why. I got so mad at her the other day and told her I didn't want to hear her say "why," again (I know, mean mama) so she has temporarily switched to "what for."

at least she can't get much cuter than that as she asks it!

Wow. Good luck! I have nothing more to say than that! :)
