No Golden Spoon? I guess this'll do.

This was meant to be posted months ago. But I just recently found the pictures and decided that our 70 degree weather made it the perfect better-late-than-never post.
I present to you, the only acceptable place to eat yogurt in our neck of the woods (I know, I know, Pinkberry is just down the street. But I just don't like it. It's too bitter and not chocolatey enough. And yes, 21 Choices is nearby too. But it's a zoo there and I hate their organic spoons and bowls. By the time I'm done eating, my utensils have fallen apart).
Thus, we yogurt at Squeeze and Scoop (dumbest name btw):
If I were naming the place, I'd call it : MY YOGURT. I love that I get to make it all myself! And I get to dump on as many chocolate chips as I like. Yum, Yum.
Of course, it's especially funny to watch Casey maneuver around a bunch of chatty teens who just exited the local Twilight matinee:
The best part about this place though? We're both happy. His and Her's yogurt. (Mine, ahem, is NOT the fruity healthy bowl)
Hooray for a yummy yogurt spot! If only they had good parking.

I'm with you on the Pinkberry place -- it's a little too bitter for me.

Thank you for agreeing with me on Pinkberry! I thought I was a lone soul out there :).

amen on the bad parking. we use the free-for-90 min lot across from pinkberry :) which, i must say, is pretty tasty with mochi. but definitely more sour than golden spoon.

Man--I STILL haven't been there!! And everyone says how yummy it is. Maybe before the baby gets here I'll make it down there...I COULD just walk down there with the kids in a stroller...hmmmmm.

Yup - I like my yogurt to taste like a sinfully sweet ice cream cousin, not not remind me that it is really made of sour-tasting good-for-you bacteria.

We love that place. I agree about the parking though.

Yeah, that place is awesome. I love that we've all posted pictures of the interior of S&S on our blogs at some point (haha). I like how you posted pics of your creations, too!! Yum. We always park in the garage across Fair Oaks and down a little. It's free for 90 minutes!

I didn't know about this place. I love that you can do it yourself. Hooray for self serve!! Maybe for a great date night Nate and I will head over there and eat ourselves silly.

Oh, I LOVE Squeeze and Scoop! And yes, the name is horrible, but the yogurt is oh so good!

That place sounds downright dreamy!

Someday . . . when Paul has a job and we have disposible income . . . then I'm so there!

totally my kind of place. i have not tried pinkberry but out here in the armpit of Colorado we have only TCBY and it is definately a misnomer. NOT The Country's Best Yogurt. Why is Golden Spoon so much better than every other place?!
i totally agree with becky ?

I've never been to a yogurt place that you can do it yourself. Love it!

We go here all the time. We also discovered a great self-serv place in Montrose that's easier parking for us and just as yummy!

the decor is definitely more hip than GS. cute place. self-serve is for sure the trend down here too.

Nope, you gotta try Yogurtland. Best EVER, hands down.
