brought to you by, Lucy

I think every mom has the blog post where her child discovered the camera for the first time and went around the house taking all sorts of random shots. Yep, that's what this is. I'm sure we find our own children's "artwork" more endearing than others would. But Casey and I were pretty impressed with a few of Lucy's shots (the best of about 80 shots I deleted). Most of the photos here are untouched. On a few of them, I lightened the exposure and sharpened the focus. But I left the composition and angles alone. So cool to see the world from her perspective.

Brought to you by our little budding photographer....

those are good! The best thing about having a kid who can take pics - you and Casey can be in more photos together on family outings! I love letting the boys take pictures. It is nice to see their perspective and things that are important to them - like Lucy's princesses.

wow, those ARE good! looks like she's going to be just as creative & artistic as her momma :) so interesting to see it from her angle & see what things are important to her.

Those are great! Isn't it fun when they reach this stage. Jacqueline has been taking pics too since she was 3. She loves it as much as we love seeing what she captures. Jillian is also getting into taking pictues. It is fun to see what they love and hear why they love it.
Lucy is showing signs of great photography, just like her mommy.

So funny you did a blog post about this. I keep thinking I am going to do one since the kids take shots all the time with my camera, but I never get around to it.

I have to laugh because my kids are always taking pics of their cars or dolls, the TV, the wall, and me (when I am least expecting it)--and of each other more than anything. So fun!!

these are great--I was just putting photos up on our blog and realizing that the pictures Miles takes are so much more interesting and fun. Maybe it's because kids are less inhibited and worried about balance and symmetry and making things look just right. anyhow, fun post!
