Oranges are so good

I've been buying a lot of oranges lately because Casey just can't get enough of them. They've been sweet and juicy and easy to peel; the perfect snack. And at $.50/lb, even better. I thought prime-time orange season was in December, since I always found one at the bottom of my Christmas stocking. But they're still going strong! Yum

Dana i'm sad that I didn't get to see you this trip, I really wanted to see Owen. It would have been a blast to go to Disneyland together I'm sorry you couldn't make it (however, it was California spring break and crowded). I'm glad the boys got to get together at the game though.

Hey do you remember when Casey and Brett had the orange tree in their backyard? We joked that they should sell them on busy streets, like the guys who sell roses or newspapers. Hee hee (: Do you realize how lucky you are? You have the best produce and it is so prevalent. Everything comes from Cali. We have an abundance of good corn in the summer and that's about it.....okay maybe lots of milk and cheese too.

We are all about the clementines here. Seriously, we can go through a 5# bag in less than a week. No scurvy for us!

I love when oranges stay good for a long time! That's one major thing I miss every year about CA- the oranges. They're my fav too!
