Haircut #2
Owen's first haircut was back when he was 2 months old. We had to get rid of the old man hair growing around the bottom of his head. So we used the clippers and shaved it all off.
Then about a week ago we realized, it was time to shape him up again. The back of his hair was nowhere near a mullet but it was headed there. The hairs were swooping to the side at the back of his neck. And the top of his head was like a feather with whispy fringe going in every direction.

How did we do it? A toy he never gets to play with....the remote:
Then I snipped quickly and carefully with little iridescent hairs flying everywhere. Hopefully we don't find any in our food.

Little boys look so grown up with big-boy haircuts! He is so darling, and I'll be sure to remember that remote control trick for future haircuts...

I have not attempted cutting the boys' hair myself yet. You did an excellent job -- he's even more adorable now, who would've thought?
